Hi to all the listeners out there. My name is Steve Wilcoxson. I was born in the late 50's and raised in what's called the Solomon Valley of North Central Kansas. I left the region in the mid 70's and migrated south. There I met my lovely wife and we were wed in the late 70's. In the early 80's we were asked to join the family business which we became partners of. Guy and Mae's Tavern in Williamsburg, Ks is where I mastered the art of BBQ and have been smoking ribs for over 25 years.
After co-hosting a radio show with Ernie Rodina, it was suggested that I think about doing a show of my own. My wife and I started putting together material and approached our local radio station with the idea. Thus, the beginning of Smokin' and Chokin' with Leroy. We hope you enjoy the show!
